Delta celebrates flying with a Delta Flight Museum

Delta Air Lines is making its popularity as the air passage offering Cheapest Air Tickets inaugurated the new Delta Flight Museum, a 68,000 square-foot service situated at the airline’s world head office in Atlanta on July 17, 2014. The museum records Delta’s record and the development of commercial air flying. The museum stand as a landmark for Delta’s 85th birthday of flying, way back to its first traveler flight from Features to Fitzgibbons, Ms, on July 17, 1929.



The Delta Flight museum stated a Historic Aerospace Site this year is located in the airline’s two unique servicing hangars from the 1940s. After an important remodeling to the historic structures financed by the Delta Air Lines and other vendors, the museum is now start to the community.

The museum contains artifacts loaded with thousands of relics, many of which have never been on community show. They explain more than eight decades of Delta record and the development of professional airplane. The museum homes a lasting selection of five historic airplanes.



The museum features a 117-seat cinema and a 30-seat meeting room situated inside the fuselage of an L-1011 TriStar airplane. Also on show is the cabin of a Convair 880 jet. Furthermore, guests can have the greatest airplane experience and lead a Boeing 737-200 full-motion simulation, the only one start to the community in the U.S., formerly used to practice Delta aircraft aviators.

A trip of the museum begins with Delta’s origins as a crop-dusting function in the non-urban Southern and takes guests through the early propeller era of flying and into the jet age.



A special display awards Delta’s creator and first CEO, C.E. Woolman. The show has an image of Woolman along with quotations and personal items.
